Executive Council
Each chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon is lead by a capable group of undergraduate members, elected to the Executive Council. Their ability to set the tone and direction of the chapter will determine its success.

Colton Taylor
Chapter PresidentAs Chapter President, Colton is responsible for leading his brothers and managing the operations of the chapter.

Justyn Johnson
Vice President of ProgrammingAs Vice President of Programming, Justyn is responsible for the planning and execution of the chapter’s events and functions.

Matthew Mancusi
ChaplainAs the chaplain, Matthew is responsible for holding all members accountable to the cardinal principles and standards of membership.
Undergraduate Chapter Advisory Board
The Chapter Counselor, Faculty Fellow and Balanced Man Steward work closely with our undergraduate Executive Council to provide a resource for the development programs of the fraternity and to aid in the annual transition of leadership.

Logan Wilson
Chapter CounselorLogan Wilson was named Chapter Counselor in 2020. Wilson works for the Tennessee Department of Correction. He is a 2017 graduate of the University of Memphis Lambuth, where he served as Vice President of Communications and Vice President of Member Development of the Tennessee Zeta SigEp chapter.

Dr. Adan Bruner
Faculty FellowDr. Adan Bruner was named Faculty Fellow in 2019. Dr. Bruner is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at UT Martin, joining the institution in August 2019. He is a 2013 graduate of Rose-Hullman Institute of Technology where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. While at Rose-Hullman, he was a member of the Kappa Chapter of Theta Xi Fraternity, as well as Omega Chi Epsilon, a chemistry honor society. He earned his Master’s Degree in Chemistry and his doctorate in Theoretical Chemistry from Louisiana State University.

John Abel
Faculty FellowJohn Abel was named Faculty Fellow in 2020. Abel is a UT Martin SigEp alumnus and earned his bachelor's degree in business administration in 1999 and his MBA in 2002. He has worked for two decades in various roles for the university, serving as a hall director for the Office of Housing and later as operations manager for the Boling University Center. The university named Abel the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs in 2015. He is also the advisor for the Student Government Association, guiding student leaders in their relationship with the university.

Dr. Stephen B. Shanklin
Balanced Man StewardDr. Stephen B. Shanklin was named Balanced Man Steward in 1995. Dr. Shanklin also served as the first Chapter Counselor for Tennessee Kappa and was instrumental in bringing SigEp to UT Martin. He is a 1970 graduate of Murray State University where he is a member of the Kentucky Epsilon SigEp chapter. He earned his Master's degree in Business Administration from UT Martin and his Ph.D. in Accounting from St. Louis University. He most recently served the Frist Chair of Excellence Professor of Accountancy at Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee.
Dr. Shanklin is a 2001 recipient of the Order of the Golden Heart, Sigma Phi Epsilon's highest individual award. In addition to his role for Tennessee Kappa, he has served as Grand Chapter President, a member of the National Board of Directors, Treasurer for the Sigma Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation, and on numerous committees and task forces for the national fraternity.

Ken Blankenship
Balanced Man StewardKenneth Blankenship was named Balanced Man Steward in 2022. Blankenship is a 2000 graduate of UT Martin with a degree in Computer Science. He has previously served as Chapter Counselor and AVC President. He is a member of SigEp's Board of Governors and performs as Grand Chapter Conclave Choir. Professionally, he is an IT Infrastructure Team Lead for LKQ Corporation.
