For the fifth year, Sigma Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation hosted its annual Founders Day of Giving, celebrating our fraternity’s 119th birthday by giving back to the national programs that help build Balanced Men. Twenty five undergraduates, alumni and friends of the fraternity helped raise $3,305, with more than more than $544,000 raised nationally over the two day event.
Alumnus Michael Duggan of our Missouri State University chapter contributed to our cause, saying that his donation was “in honor of Tennessee Kappa Brother Keith Boatright (1998) for his Outstanding Service to Missouri Eta! Thank You Keith!” Boatright serves as their Chapter Counselor.
Several of our alumni participated in a friendly rivalry between the “Freearks” (current and former national fraternity staff) and the NUTS! McAuliffe Society (scholarship group for members to attend our Grand Chapter Conclave, named after Gen. Anthony McAuliffe). Combined, those two groups raised more than $188,000 of the total.
Thank you to all of our donors!
