For the sixth year, Sigma Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation hosted its annual Founders Day of Giving, celebrating our fraternity’s 120th birthday by giving back to the national programs that help build Balanced Men. Thirty seven undergraduates, alumni and friends of the fraternity helped raise $3,802, with more than more than $902,735 raised nationally over the two day event.
That performance put Tennessee Kappa as the 15th ranked chapter in the Total Donors Chapter Challenge, ahead of several chapters with more alumni and a longer history.
Several of our alumni participated in a friendly rivalry between the “Freearks” (current and former national fraternity staff) and the NUTS! McAuliffe Society (scholarship group for members to attend our Grand Chapter Conclave, named after Gen. Anthony McAuliffe). Combined, those two groups raised more than $221,000 of the total.
There were also individual challenges for our Ruck Scholars, who were looking to “unlock” an additional $10,000 from an alumnus if they reached 300 donors.
Thank you to our 2021 SigEp Founders Day of Giving donors!
