MARTIN, Tennessee – Sigma Phi Epsilon at UT Martin recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, albeit two years later because of the pandemic. Despite the delay, the excitement of seeing friends and their families again made for a great weekend.
The fraternity has held its annual “Family Day” since receiving its charter in 1995. In those early days, brothers would bring their parents to the event. These days, with many alumni in their 30s and 40s, they instead brought their own sons and daughters back to UT Martin to celebrate life-long friendships.
The weekend included an awards luncheon, a business meeting for the chapter’s Alumni & Volunteer Corporation, a softball game and an evening of axe throwing at Angry Axe in Martin, Tennessee. More than 40 of the chapter’s alumni were in attendance, along with about 20 guests.
